Laurence Kesterson is a photographer with more than 35 years of diverse experience. For 24 years he was a staff photographer at The Philadelphia Inquirer. His career has included staff positions at small town dailies, service in the US Army as a photographer, and freelancing for wire services and commercial clients. His work has appeared in Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, Le Figaro, Le Monde and a variety of other publications.
In the days immediately following Hurricane Katrina, Laurence was a part of the Knight Ridder staff assigned to the Biloxi Sun Herald, which was awarded the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service.
Laurence is located in the suburban Philadelphia area and is available for local, national, and international assignments.
